Remembering our founders, LVBOA has celebrated the Founders day in an innovative style and created a history in the journey of Association. The day was fully engaged in showing a gratitude to the founder, who was concerned about society and by honouring our Long-time customers. Morning we had pooja in Ashtalakshmi Lakshmi Temple and after seeking the blessing from Goddess Lakshmi, we have visited the Unity House, which is our Association Building which also houses our Founders statue. The undersigned along with our office Bearers, Executive Committee Members, officers, Retirees paid our respects and shown our gratitude by garlanding the founder’s statue.We have visited “Sakthi Tamil Palli” where mentally retarded children are trained. The institution is run by a family and supported by “Kangau foundation an NGO by youths. The children are basically a mentally retarded but they have extra special talent in many areas. The association has planted the tree saplings in the school premises. The kids honoured us with their handmade garlands. Evening the “NAMASTE” programme was conducted in Hotel Hemala, Karur. The event was organized to honor our long outstanding customers who are with us and traversed with the Bank. The program started with a Press meet and the function commenced with prayer. Com.Anandha Krishnan, Joint secretary has anchored the programme. Your General Secretary welcomed the guests and other members. He thanked all the LVBians who stood steadfast against the merger and in succeeding in their endeavor. He appealed all to focus on recovery and regain retail deposit that will help us to come out from PCA. He thanked the guests for their support in all our crises and assured to improve our service. He has informed that all LVBians are eagerly waiting for the Centenary of the Bank and wish that dream comes true.
